Prayer Seminar - Frankfurt, Germany (15th - 16th November 2008) |
|
On Nov. 15th and 16th, we were invited to the Russian-German church „Quelle des Lebens“ (“Fountain of Life”). Gayle spoke on prayer and faith and for the first time ever she preached in German. She was excellent and our German-Russian brothers and sisters – not being German native speakers just like Gayle – could easily identify with her.
The friendliness of the people was just as amazing as their hunger for God. It was no wonder that the presence of the Holy Spirit was very intense during the worship. The church was greatly blessed through Gayle’s ministry and Pastor Yuri Brunner was very grateful for the encouraging and challenging messages. It was a joy and privilege for us to minister with them.

It was a totally new experience to worship together with our Russian brothers and sisters. When you are in the same Spirit it doesn’t matter what your mother tongue is, you just feel at home. They certainly know how to worship; you could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in the air.
The people themselves were so warm and friendly embracing us with their hospitality.
Gayle did a wonderful job preaching in German for the first time, which was then translated into Russian. People were excited as she talked about building your little faith into big faith, they didn’t care how long it took as they hung on every word that was spoken. Things just flowed and the people loved her honesty and wit. To me it is amazing how God is pulling different people from different backgrounds together, to achieve His purpose.
