Suzette and the team have just arrived in Churachandpur, a 4 hour journey by bus from the state capital of Impal – She has just managed to get through by phone where they started last night with the first crusade.

This is what Suzette said in a nut shell.

The city is very, very tense and this morning 3 people have been killed in the city for no apparent reason, however a church group is the main opposition of the crusade and have boycotted this event. This is the FIRST crusade in that city. On the other hand the Presbyterians have opened the doors wide for Suzette and welcomed her.

The army are in full force at each meeting with their machine guns ready for action should there be any! The weather is not good and they had planned to have open air meetings but they have had to move into a building now because of the rain. Last night about 500 people come to the meeting (they thought this was revival). There were many healings as well, but there is a real need for creative miracles as the people are so unwell. The meetings are recorded and played during the daytime, many times over and so Suzette and the crusade are on the air quiet a bit of the time. Suzette and the team, as well as the Bible School students, are doing well and they all are staying in the same area of town.

Please continue to pray for:

· The safety of the team.

· For a real break through in that City.

· God to unify the churches for the sake of Christ.

· God to clear the weather for the preaching of the word.

Suzette called yesterday and they have now arrived safe and well back in the City of Impal where today they begin their meetings. The last crusade was excellent, especially the last night. The Pastors told Suzette that they feel revival has come to Churachandpur. Although the crusade was small in comparison to places where we have been before, we have to remember that a soul is a soul, and this was a completely unreached group of people. In the last night they had over 3000 people and three hundred got saved. Over these 4 nights 6,500 people have visited the crusade. There was also a significant breakthrough in the miraculous. The Churches had been at odds with one another and there was so much disunity but Suzette was able to minister into that as well and now Pastors and churches are prepared to work and pull together for the sake of the harvest.

The crusade last night was really tough with a real resistance to the Gospel. It was like they hit a wall, not so much with the preaching but with the miracles.

Suzette feels that there is a real witchcraft spirit set against this crusade, and so has asked that we really pray into this. The meetings are broadcast live on the one channel and so there were about 6000 in the first night meeting. They have another problem and that is that there are thousands of bugs, so many that it disturbs Suzette while she is preaching, She said "I do not know how many I swallowed alive", but they also have bugs that sting so she is also covered in stings. The bugs are drawn by the TV lights and so she has to stand and share the platform with these creatures!

The Bible school students that are there have been a blessing and tremendous support to the VIC team, Suzette is really blessed by them and the blessing that they are.

They had a very strong breakthrough yesterday evening! 7,000 – 8,000 people have visited the crusade and around 300,000 people have watched it on TV. 80% of the visitors were YOUNG people!

On the first evening it was like a wall in the spirit against healing, but yesterday really was a amazing breakthrough!

They had a breakthrough with healings and miracles; one man who was lame on his left sight was healed! God has healed backs, stomachs and more! The message was wonderful, the word of God came through to the people.

Even in the hotel where Suzette in staying, people came to her and said: "We have watched you on TV!" Many of them asked Suzette to pray for the sick!

The daily seminars were very good, too.

There is no rain in Imphal now, even though it is the time for the MONSOON, which would mean a lot of rain…  Praise the Lord!

The team works wonderfully together, and the Bible School Students really are a blessing there! 

Today and tomorrow there will be crusades and on Friday the team will visit a village.

The stadium last night was jam packed full, the TV was also broadcasting live to the one and only station they have with a potential audience of easily 150,000 viewers.

At first the people in the stadium were very restless and there was no calm. Above the stadium was lightning striking and some how you could feel the tension in the atmosphere. A gang then arrived to cause trouble and demons were screaming out so for all intents and purposes it seemed like chaos, but then the people began to clap to the Lord and give Him a clap offering. This went on for several minutes. As the clapping stopped so did the lightning and the disturbances and Suzette was able to preach and pray for the sick without interruption. There was an amazing break through in the preaching and also in the miracles.

Tonight is the last night and we expect the Lord to do a wonderful thing.

Please keep praying for the protection and safety of the team, and also for Suzette, as she is feeling quite tired and drained.

Last night was the most amazing meeting of the crusade with the most incredible breakthrough. Thousands got saved and hundreds got healed. A good 14,000 people were in the stadium and around 3 thousand people couldn’t even get in, not to forget the 150,000 people who probably watched the meeting on TV.

The police wrote in the report “This is what the country needs”, and this report will of course go to the top people in Delhi, which is very important for further permissions in this region in the future. They are very happy that everything went well, this is now the 2nd Christian meeting without major problems. Thank you Jesus!

The team is all fine and safe, but as you might imagine they are ready to come home again.
