Suzette’s Report from the Chicago Prayer School

The Chicago Prayer School was absolutely wonderful and made a tremendous impact into the lives of these people. Once again your prayers paved the way for the power of His word to flow and awaken hearts. These people come away, so encouraged and testifying to the simplicity and power of prayer and intercession.

The teaching and training was intense over these three days, covering 10 sessions and incorporating as much as we could possible give out. But God met us and we were excited to see what he did in the lives of these people. On the Friday night during worship, I felt the angels of God come into the meeting. As we gave way to the Holy Spirit, the meeting opened up and God started healing people. For example, there was a man who for the past 4 weeks couldn't sleep because of an operation that left him in severe pain. As we prayed, he was instantly healed. In going home he slept for the first time through the night. Praise God!

There were so many healings during these three days and coupled with the prayer teaching and worship made these meetings life changing for those who came. We are so excited to have you partner with us. This is just as much your harvest for the prayers that make this all possible.

Philippians 1:4-5 - In all our prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.

Update from 22/02/2007

Dear all,

This is just a short note about the meetings.

We started tonight (22nd) with about 280 people in total with more expected tomorrow and Saturday. Suzette opened the meetings and it was wonderful, people are so hungry for the basic teaching on prayer and what it means to pray as normal people. For many people, every sentence was revelation – this is wonderful.

Tomorrow morning Suzette will do the first 2 morning sessions and then I will do the 2 afternoon with Suzette doing the night, so you can see 5 sessions in a day is a lot, so please pray for us. It is really cold here but things in the school are red hot!!!

All of us can have an effective prayer life that not only changes our families, but changes our cities.
