In July Voice in the City ministered in Sweden where Suzette spoke as one of the guest speakers in an annual, big summer event. This was a conference organized by a vibrant, charismatic church called “Arken” which has their church and bible school head quarters in Stockholm area. This conference was a ten-day event with several well-known speakers from different nations. Suzette was scheduled to speak at the end of the event, namely during the last three days of it. Just like Voice in the City, the hosting pastors, Linda and Gunnar Bergling, have the brokenhearted strongly laid upon their hearts and therefore healing plays a central role also in their ministry.

The event was titled Miracle Conference and many thirsty and hungry people in great needs came with high expectations waiting to receive their miracle from the Lord – and they did not come in vain! The meetings where Suzette preached were packed almost every time she spoke regardless of the time of the day. The audience loved Suzette, her style and her messages! They sat on the edge of their chairs sucking in everything they could - such hungry and humble people, open and ready for more, willing to do anything to receive a fresh touch from the Lord! In every meeting the audience were fully awake responding to her message with claps, shouts and laughter. As Suzette shared the word there was such an atmosphere of freedom and a strong presence of the Holy Spirit which increased in every meeting towards the end of the event. The spirit of repentance was powerfully present particularly in one meeting as Suzette preached on the fire of God. Most people came forward at the end and truly repented before God. That same day in the next meeting she taught on divine healing, flowing in words of knowledge as she preached. She called many people with several different diseases forward and God healed many right there. During her teaching she shared her own testimony of how God healed her from cancer. At the end of this meeting she gave an altar call that was responded by some 30 people - keeping in mind that this was an event were majority of all attendants were already saved – this was a great harvest!

Many broken hearted people were in these meetings as the church that organized this event has a special program for these people. We saw how God touched many of these individuals in both body, mind and spirit. At the end of the event we could see a notable difference in several people’s appearances! God has set captives free and healed broken hearts.

One early afternoon Suzette shared at a Pastors' Lunch having present some 30 pastors from all over Sweden. She shared about the secret of her life and ministry, the answer to the question how she got where she is today - namely "the secret place" where there is only her and God, before anything else catches her attention during the early hours of the day when the city is still sleeping, the sun is just about to rise and her hair looks like an explosion, as she puts it. All of the pastors were moved and after this meeting our book table had almost nothing on it left. That same evening Suzette took a new direction and lead the congregation into deep worship, teaching them what it means to minister to the Lord instead of always receiving something from Him. There was a powerful, heavy presence of holiness as the voices rang all over exalting Jesus for a long while. During this worship God healed many people from pains in their body and some came forward to give testimonies.

In the last meeting on Sunday Suzette had no idea what one of the worship team members sang spontaneously in Swedish but as the translator told her what the young man sang, it was amazingly the very theme of her message for that meeting: "God will restore your dreams!". She preached an encouraging message through the life of David sharing openly about her own experiences going through rough times and learning to trust and understand God’s ways and timing. We thank the Lord for these days in Sweden as He blessed and anointed our ministry and used us to bring changes into many lives for His glory. We are grateful for every miracle and give God all the glory that He deserves.
