The sight of the hundreds of tents and caravans that greeted us as we entered the campgrounds was a pleasant sight! All over the campgrounds stood these large tents with two of the largest tents combined to make space for about 12-14,000 people in the main meetings, when it is packed.

The conference was the Pentecostal mid- summer camp, which is often attended by up to 30,000 visitors! Being so far North – the nights weren’t really very dark, which was a great time for the youth to visit, worship and fellowship together!

What a privilege it was for me to be one of the main speakers at the Friday night meeting, which seemed to be the largest attendance. Normally they do not invite outside speakers and even then the meetings are only one and a half hours! So this was not the norm - a lady speaker, having the main meeting, being from outside their denomination and then having up to 3 hours for the meeting! We were thankful unto the Lord and the organisers for such grace, especially the Inland mission that made it possible for us to be there as they arranged the invitation and preaching slots.

On Thursday night, Gayle unexpectedly got the opportunity to speak in the “ worship tent” which were attended by plus - minus 1,000 young people - she brought a brilliant message

God in His love took that message and moved His people by His power! Many healings flowed and one lady could hardly wait to tell me that her neighbour got saved the night before as they listened to me on the radio. Hundreds streamed forward when I made the altar call. The front of the tent, the isle and everywhere where there was a little space was filled with people in response to the call for something new, fresh, the fire of God and to re-commit their lives to Jesus.

I can only give God the glory for giving me the strength to do that meeting after the big operation I had only 3 weeks before that - to Him all the glory.
