Voice in the City is an interdenominational, international mission organisation with offices in Frankfurt, Germany and Birmingham, England.

We are as committed to one soul as to a million and are reaching out to the lost in whatever way possible. We endeavour, as a ministry, to operate under the banner of servant-hood in all that we do "having a global vision with a local heart."

For 17 years, Suzette had been part of the "Christ for all Nations" team, heading up the women's ministry for 4 years. In 1984, God redirected her ministry to focus almost exclusively on prayer and intercession. She played a major part in the outreach preparations, projects and the general ministry as a close co-worker with Reinhard Bonnke and later as his associate evangelist.

On January 1st 1997, Suzette founded the mission's organisation called "Voice in the City". Beside prayer, Suzette's ministry quickly broadened into major evangelistic outreaches. With a tremendous burden for the lost and especially the "broken-hearted", Suzette felt a strong call from the Lord to concentrate on cities and local communities with a servant-hood ministry, mass evangelistic outreaches as well as TV and Radio worldwide. She strongly believes in edifying the body of Christ through her gifts and ministry as well as reaching out to the lost.

Gayle was a member of the "Christ for all Nations" team from 1987 - 1996. Under the leadership of Suzette Hattingh, she worked preparing mass events and street outreaches.

On January 1st 1997, Gayle, together with Suzette, founded Voice in the City. Gayle is an anointed motivational preacher and teacher, with her true calling lying in teaching and building up the body of Christ. Along side her ministry as Suzette's co preacher worldwide, she also plays a vital part in the administration of the ministry, along with her husband Stephen. They have a son called Matthew.

Prayer

We believe in mobilising the body of Christ into more concentrated and directed intercession through prayer conferences and seminars as well as conducting Prayer Schools with instructed teaching involving our workbook.

A Prayer School consists of 12-14 sessions, leading the participants along with our workbook, into deeper prayer and intercession.

This three day course is designed for practical application, equipping participants to equip others. A school designed for all levels of maturity, accompanied by real life examples.

The strategy for our City Taking events is as follows:

• Prayer Preparation
• Making the project known through newspaper, internet and various other forms of advertisement
• Providing a Hotline for help services
• Training of the participants for the practical outreaches
• Servant-hood Evangelism (visiting people in their homes and helping them in practical ways).
• Evangelistic events with different teams, as well as one to one interaction
• Culminating in evangelistic meetings with the main focus on healing the sick
• An intersive follow up program

We have always believed that when the voice of God's people is heard in a city, the voice of God is presented in that city. We believe in motivating and mobilising the body of Christ to concentrated prayer and servant-hood evangelism for their community.

Evangelistic Events

Our evangelistic events include holding mass evangelistic outreaches worldwide as well as mission trips to third world countries (developing countries) and areas difficult to reach.

For example Indonesia, the largest Muslim nation in the world, a country with 17,000 islands of which 13,000 are populated. By God's grace we have an open door.

Healing Meetings

Voice in the City are involved in evangelistic healing meetings as well as healing schools and seminars.

We believe God is the Healer and His people need to learn to simply act upon and respond to this truth. In these healing schools, we endeavour to teach people how to pray for the sick and receive their healing. These meetings are motivational and evangelistic, with a focus on healing.

General Preaching Ministry

Voice in the City are involved in preaching and ministering in Churches, revival night meetings and conferences and seminars.

We are absolutely convinced that God is as interested in His people as well as the unsaved; we seek to minister to both on an equal footing.

We have ministered in high security prisons and detention centres throughout America and Europe. We also have a discipleship programme set in place.

Voice in the City counts it an honour to minister in prisons - to men and women sometimes forgotten by their own loved ones and society. We do not see criminals - we simply see men and women who need Jesus. It is true to say when we have lost the burden of God for one soul we have lost the heart of God.

Orphanages

We are part of founding and supporting orphanages in Indonesia and other developing countries. This work includes feeding, clothing, schooling and above all, training them in the Christian faith.

As our missions partners you are an equal shareholder in the heavenly reward and the harvest of the mission!
