FCJG Lüdenscheid (Free Christian Youth Community in Lüdenscheid, Germany) is a place known for many years for its impact in the nations and especially for their training up and sending out young people on missions. It was there where Gayle and I had the privilege to minister last weekend.
Joy filled my heart to see all these young people setting their time aside, seeking God and getting prepared for a future on the mission field.
Saturday morning was the beginning of a day of impact and like Gayle said, “Your meeting was the know how to pray and mine was the living it out on a daily basis”.
What a joy to see a full house in the prayer house set out to pray for the nations. In the evening we were in the lovely setting of the Rehab house.
My meeting was more about the lifestyle of prayer, warning the listeners about the times we are in and how to act as ‘Kings and Priests’ for such a time as this, whereas Gayle’s meeting had tremendous impact as many could identify with the scenario of bringing God’s Word into a difficult situation.
As always, the Holy Spirit dovetailed the sermons even though we had no idea what the other one was going to preach. True personal ministry happened at Gayle’s meeting and people were deeply impacted by the practical life experiences she shared.
The evening meeting was evangelistic and yet as I shared about how the people that stood at the cross needed to be forgiven, most people could identify with the message. Jesus is still in the business of setting people free and that was what happened on Saturday night.
We are deeply thankful for FCJG’s kind hospitality and for the privilege of ministering there. Not only have we been friends for many years but we are also two ministries with only one goal – to build the Kingdom of God wherever we can.
